Cargo Handling at Compass Logistics is done through 4 modes of transport : roadways, waterways, railways and airways.

• Roadways

Compass logistics does majority of the transportation of cargo by means of road transport. Other modes of transport have limited reach as compared to road transport. So it plays a major role in handling cargo in small towns and remote areas.

• Waterways

The most cheapest among the four modes of transportation. It is ideal for transporting heavy and bulky goods but has longer delivery times.

• Railways

Major advantage of railways is the fact that this mode of transport can handle large loads of cargo in a short period of time. Efficiency will be lot less in this mode of transport as there will be unforeseen delays.

• Airways

Airways is the most fastest among all modes of transportation. Cost will be on higher side for air transport which is a drawback.
